A Boratesque story from ISIS-land: Chechen ISIS fighters being cheated out of paradise by Saudi nepotism

A story from ISIS-land too good not to share.

Islamic State fighters claim they are not getting the chance to blow themselves up because they are being bumped down the suicide-bomber waiting list by nepotistic leaders.

A Chechen militant has complained that Saudi jihadis are favouring their own friends and family for bombing missions.

Kamil Abu Sultan ad-Daghestani said fighters were becoming increasingly angry after being left languishing on the waiting list for months.

Religious fanaticism and family-based corruption, the twin problems of the non-western world (says the third generation journalist).

The rise of ISIS and the destruction of Syria by outside forces is the most tragic story of our age but there is some very dark humour within. I do sometimes wish Sacha Baron Cohen would make a film about the Islamic State, in the same way Charlie Chaplin mocked Hitler, but I appreciate there could be taste (and security) issues. I appreciate Chris Morris has set the bar, but his humour is very different to Baron Cohen’s.
