".... many of my ancestors arrived on longships, and I’m pretty sure they would fail the Home Office interview". Same old false analogy. Your ancestors did not emigrate to this country, they invaded and plundered it. The Saxons fought them tooth-and-nail with mixed results. The Danes ended up running the place. They didn't come here to open Viking restaurants.

Now, the indigenous British can not only not fight back, they can't even open their mouths to object. They have been cowed into grudging silence by an oppressive state regime and decades of gaslighting. This is why it is so dishonest for you to claim that immigration has lost its salience. Not, it hasn't. Our rulers have simply made it clear that they will brook no discussion of the issue.

The "new" Vikings and Normans from Africa and the Middle East are in the process of taking over our country now - a process that is being facilitated and encouraged by every institution that we once relied upon to protect us. In a sense, the British have been conquered by our own managerial and political classes. It won't be long now until the native British are reduced, at least informally, to the status of second-class citizens whose only utility lies in paying the Danegeld to our new rulers.

You're correct when you say that the big issues now are identity not economics and that fact that the Tories are spearheading the new "woke" politics means they are now, well and truly, a party of post-modern left. The system has been rigged to deny the British any opportunity to vote against it or even organise in their own interests. This is not a democracy or anything like a democracy. It is a feudal state under foreign occupation.

I take great pleasure in the purplexed replies in whatsapp groups with liberal friends when I highlight the diversity of the tory party leadership.
